An Internet Marketer’s Gold Mine - Cultivate Good Habits

Monday, March 31st, 2008

Let’s face it: even when you stop doing your internet business, the online world will still go on. So it is really up to you to be able to stay afloat for as long as your possibly can and build something meaningful out of your internet marketing business.

If you plan to be a good internet marketer, then you must be able to have these on your checklist aside from harnessing your tools, making plans and building your list. The character of a highly competent internet marketer is what helps him not to rest on his laurels and continue to take on higher levels in the ladder of success.

Availability to Answer Questions

Do not just rely on your autoresponders to talk back to your subscribers. You must be able to meet the needs of your prospects. And most prospects have specific concerns that your autoresponder may not be sufficient or upgraded enough to answer.

If you are genuinely after providing services and products to your prospects, you must be available for their questions. You must have a number or email address from which they can contact you, and you must also have the time to respond to queries that will definitely coming your way.

Personality with a Personal Touch to All Correspondences

You must stand out among the sea of internet marketers. And the only way to do that is to let yourself shine though and render your marketing strategies with a personal touch. A sales letter does not have to sound like a love letter, but it must not sound like it came from a mechanical robot either.

Communicate positively that behind the followups is another human being who is prepared to meet their needs. Trust me, you will need this all of the time as you go about your business.

Openness to Change

You cannot expect that what worked for you a decade ago will continue to work today. Do not unreasonably hold on to tradition and be open to change. However, you must be able to balance the changes you will be introducing. You must also be open to feedbacks and suggestions from other people in your field.

Hardworking

While having an internet marketing business is relatively easier than other 9-5 jobs, it is still no reason for you to be lazy. Being hardworking is one of the marks of a true and well-meaning internet marketer. You will not have to labor like a horse, but you must also be willing to work hard to achieve your goals.

Persistence in Testing Things

Consistent testing is one of the best ways for you to update your system. If you are always testing your tools persistently, you will find that you will always be on top of your game. Testing what works and what does not work for your system will ensure that you will not keep inefficient techniques in your website and will help you maximize your available resources.

That ‘Talking Thing’ Will Either Make or Break a Relationship!

Saturday, March 29th, 2008

Paul Sterling is the creator of The Language of Peace, a new communication paradigm that puts an end to manipulation, mind games and martyrdom. It replaces these with compassion, understanding and peaceful interactions.

Sterling, once a commercial fisherman in Alaska, spent years studying with all of the great masters of motivation and change, from Anthony Robbins to Marshall Thurber. He studied and taught Dr. Demming’s Systems Theory in government and business. Later he became certified in Eriksonian hypnosis, neuro-linguistic programming, and neuro-associative response. Then he discovered in his studies the magical work of Dr. Marshall Rosenberg, Nonviolent Communication. He felt it really gave him the tools to make all of the other things he’d learn possible. It was one thing to know that he should discuss an issue with a mate or employee. It was a totally different thing to actually have the outline and words for conducting that conversation.

And so this all led to the creation of The Language of Peace. Paul combined his knowledge and skills from all of these sources to create a system of relating to our loved ones that creates intimacy, understanding and compassion beyond what is possible using any other system.

What do you do when…

- You marry with the understanding that you and your mate would live in the town where your parents live. But after marriage he announces that there’s no possible way he can live there?

- You move in with your beloved to live happily ever after in the little nest you would make. But after you move in you find out that her idea of a happy nest is one with stuff piled everywhere and dirty dishes?

- Your beloved says that he’d love to support you in changing careers, just as soon as you have about $10,000 in the bank. Of course the guy spends money like nobody’s business, so that effectively eliminates your dream of changing careers?

- Your beloved moved in with you and you were going to create this fun little life of work, dinner parties and travel. Then you find out, once she’s moved in, that her asthma prevents her from doing much of these things. Plus, you suspect the asthma is really a means of manipulation, not a truly physiological issue?

…What to do?! Run and hide? Stay and fight? Stay and check out of the relationship?

Look at the four problems above. All four have one thing in common — they all require clear communication to get out of the situation. You could run and hide, but that wouldn’t help anything. The issues would still be there. You could stay and fight about who’s right and who’s wrong and call each other ‘idiots’, but that wouldn’t help much either. You could stay and just keep your mouth shut, figuring that fighting or running wouldn’t help. Or, you can learn away of communicating with your beloved so that you can connect deeply and compassionately about even the most mundane issues of every day life.

Learn the words to use to convey what you really need and what you’re really feeling without pissing the other person off or driving them away. And learn it in a way that you can call it to mind in even the hairiest of fights with your family.

This compassion-building communication method is The Language of Peace. Its four easy steps of stating an observation, your feelings around this observation, your needs in the situation, and making a clear and present request.

Okay, I said ‘easy’, but what I meant by that is that it’s only four steps and doesn’t take a master’s degree in communication to figure it out. The hard part is in using it and sticking with it because it requires a change of all of your old paradigms about how to get what you want in a relationship.

We were all brought up with various strategies for getting what we want in any relationship. And sometimes those strategies aren’t too successful. It would seem to be easy to change those once you made up your mind to do it and knew how to do is, but it’s not. When you’re under stress you’ll always want to revert to the ways you know the best — the ways you learned in your natural family — the ways that may not be working too well.

For one, we all want to build cases against our loved ones and prove to them how wrong they are about whatever the issue is. Um… excuse me? Since when did having somebody tell you you’re an idiot ever make you feel closer to them? That’s probably the biggest skill we work on in our materials — helping you to build a connection with your loved ones instead of building a case against them.

Another thing we as humans always tend to want to do is assume that the person we’re talking to is hearing what we intended to say. Nope. In fact, they’ll watch our behavior and listen to our words and STILL decide that what we meant was something completely different. So we teach people an effective way to check in with their beloved before things get out of hand.

And again, it would seem that that should be fairly simple. But it’s not. Any time you start learning a new language, it’s going to take some time and practice to become fluent. Did you ever study French or Spanish or German in school? Do you remember just how much time it took, repeating, “The fruit is in the bowl at the bottom of the stairs” just to remember the phrase? That’s what learning The Language of Peace is going to be like. You’re going to need to listen to MP3s and get on teleconference calls and attend a seminar (if you can) to really become fluent in this new way of speaking.

It’s not that we teach you a whole new language, but we will be teaching you a new vocabulary of feelings and needs — common English words that we just never really think to use. And we’ll teach you a new grammar — a new way of putting together your new vocabulary so that other people will want to listen to you.

If you’re ready to commit yourself to learning a new way of communicating with your loved ones, we invite you to sign up for our Special Report on the 5 Most Common Relationship Wrecking Communication Mistakes to start reading about ways that you can modify your communication style.

The next thing to do will be to order our beginners package of MP3 recordings and reports about the 4 steps of the Language of Peace. This is the tool for really changing your life around.

Following that, we offer teleseminars and seminars where you can ask your questions and practice your new skills in role plays and challenges to really hone your new skills and make them work for you.

The prevalence of weight issues among the tweenage generation has prompted debates between schools, parents, food giants and kids. The blame game is often played while our youth continue to tip the scales. This hot topic of Adolescent Obesity is the subject for the current episode of Teen Talk, an online video commentary feature hosted by former Nickelodeon hostess Chloe Dolandis. Teen Talk is a subsidiary of Kidfluence, an up-and-coming television show and Web site for today’s youth, tackling topics critical to the development of today’s teenagers.

Obesity used to be looked at as only an adult issue, but with the rising statistics of overweight kids, this is a far greater problem than imagined. The fact that more kids today are having radical gastric bypass surgery only reinforces the necessity to explore this issue. Schools often serve as the scapegoat because of their documented unhealthy offering of food choices. Yet parents can set bad examples themselves by indulging in junk food and failing to closely monitor their child’s eating habits. At such impressionable years such as the tweenage ones, the responsibility for maintaing healthy lifestyles for our kids is a collaborative effort.

In this current Teen Talk episode, Chloe presents the facts about adolescent obesity, analyzes what parents, schools and kids should be doing and offers a few tips. Teen Talk, which caters to today’s technology savvy teenagers, is meant to be highly interactive. Viewers are encouraged to send e-mail and comments on the blog (www.teentalkblog.tv).

Teen Talk is now airing on the Internet via the web sites Kidfluence.tv, YouTube, Google Video, Yahoo Video and myspace.

After a particularly bad week at work, I decided that it’s time to stand up for myself ! Being the person that I am, I had walked around for days trying to please and motivate everyone, only to find myself completely drained and exhausted by the end of the week!

Did I have a choice?

After doing a fair bit of soul searching, I had to admit that the answer to this question was a definite yes!

I remembered that we always have a choice in life, and that there are, in fact, endless possibilities every minute of every day:

Right now, if I wanted to, I could stop writing this blog, pack my bags, take a taxi to the airport and fly straight to the Bahamas!

Alternatively, I could go into the nearest bar and start a conversation with a group of complete strangers. I could also dye my hair pink, or take off all my clothes and run down the street naked ! I could pick up the phone and make a call to someone that I haven’t spoken to in fifteen years, or I could stand in the middle of Victoria station and start singing a song!

Some of these options might seem a bit mad, but they certainly are possible! So why not?

We also have a choice when it comes to people:

Who do we surround ourselves with? I recommend that you surround yourself with positive, fun and supportive people. Why? Because they nourish, energize and inspire you.

But what should we do when we find ourselves surrounded by negative people?

Again, there are various options to choose from:

We can try to please them and end up feeling drained- not a good choice! We can move away from them as much as possible - better! Or, and this is what I suggest, we can try to point them into a different direction by offering positive support and advice - BUT: as soon as we notice that they would rather stay negative and continue blaming others - and life in general - we have to protect ourselves by limiting the time that we spend with these individuals. We can then move on, thus saving our energies and efforts for us and the people who truly deserve it!

But don’t I have to please everyone and be nice all the time so that I can be a good citizen and go to heaven?

If you are being nice all the time because you think you have to, then unfortunately you are not doing yourself or anyone else a favour. If you are acting in a certain way because you feel obliged to do so, then your actions don’t really come from your heart anyway - so what are they worth in the first place? And if you are being drained by people, then how can you be filled with positive energy yourself? Furthermore, if you aren’t filled with positive energy yourself, then how can your positive energy overflow into other people’s lives?

When on a plane we are always being told to use our own oxygen mask first before helping others. It’s the same in life - if you can’t “breathe” yourself, then you can’t give to others.

Once we feel healthy, wealthy and full, the universe starts to correspond to the nature of our song; We attract even better things, and helping and giving to others happens naturally and effortlessly.

What choices will you make today?

TV Shows to Watch in Syndication

Monday, March 24th, 2008

These days, it seems that shows really never go off the air: they live forever in syndication. It’s not exactly the same, with every show labeled a “rerun” and being one you have likely seen (or maybe have memorized), but syndicated shows allow our favorite series to exist in places other than our hearts. Still, syndication isn’t for every show, or at least it shouldn’t be. The following is our list of the Best TV Shows to Watch in Syndication, shows that are constantly just as funny and just as endearing as they ever were.

Seinfeld: George. Kramer. Elaine. Jerry. A show about nothing was nothing but spectacular. From the Soup Nazi to George’s mother, from Uncle Leo to Elaine’s penchant for deciding if dates were “sponge worthy,” from Puddy to Peterman, Seinfeld touched on the absurdities of life in the most sensible manner. This show only gets better with age, unlike the marble rye bread Jerry stole from a helpless old lady.

The Simpsons: If Seinfeld were a cartoon, it would rival The Simpsons. Filled with a jumble of original characters (Heidily-ho, neighbor), The Simpsons continually remains animated in every sense of the word. Brilliantly written, it is filled with episodes you sometimes have to watch four or five times just to get every joke. This is one series that (when it does go off the air) will never get old…..much like the characters themselves.

Full House: Uh, just kidding. I know: how rude.

The Wonder Years: Generally thought of as a comedy, this show was filled with dramatic coming of age moments. Set in the late sixties and early seventies, it follows Kevin Arnold as he struggles with the trials of growing up. His family - a hippy sister, a bullying brother, a stern father, and a stay at home mom - his allergic to everything best friend, and his childhood crush all have importance in his life. A show that was heartfelt and honest, The Wonder Years is a series people can relate to at any age.

Saturday Night Live: Saturday Night Live has certainly had its ups and downs, with some episodes making us laugh till we cry and others making us long for a Golden Girls marathon to watch instead. But, the thing about SNL is when it’s good, it’s great. The series that brought us Nick the Lounge Singer, Wayne’s World, The Church Lady, Buckwheat, Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey, Matt Foley, Pat, the Spartan Cheerleaders, and Stuart Smalley, Saturday Night Live reruns are good enough, they’re smart enough, and doggone it, people like them.

Northern Exposure: One of those shows that just didn’t get enough respect when it was on the air, syndication gives us a chance to right a wrong. A series that follows a New York doctor as he tries to make a life in a small Alaskan town, Northern Exposure was often bizarre, usually eccentric, but always original. It also had a unique way of being completely out there and totally real at the same time. The way it depicted the clash of people from different upbringings was right on the money. This is one show people will always be glad to expose themselves to, time and time again.

Advancing technology is a great thing - after all, it’s seen us progress from TV to video and now the DVD. Advancing technology for gym goers has seen the rise of the multi-gym, the Smith Machine and the Nautilus variable cam. One of the unfortunate side effects of such progress, however, is that sometimes the old, tried and true basics get lost in the rush to try out the new and exciting. Nowhere is this more evident than when it comes to the deadlift. Once the king of mass and power movements, the deadlift is virtually unknown by modern day weight trainers. Those who are familiar with it have been taught to leave it alone as a useless and potentially dangerous movement for bodybuilders. The truth of the matter, however, is that there’s only one way to build a physique that emanates rugged power and thick, deep mass - and that is to enter the dead zone.

WHY IT’S SO GOOD

There is no other exercise that will increase your core strength while packing thick slabs of muscle onto your torso than the deadlift. Every muscle group at the back of your body is involved in this deceptively simple movement.

Here’s how each of them comes alive when you deadlift:

Calves: The gastrocnemius, along with the soleus, is the part of the calf responsible for plantar flexion at the ankle, which naturally occurs when you deadlift. Result? Deadlifting will increase the size of your calf muscles.

Hamstrings: The hamstrings do two things - they extend the hip and flex the knee. So it follows that to fully develop them we need to mimic both of these movements. Leg curls, which are the start and finish of most bodybuilder’s hammy program, only flex the knee. Enter the deadlift - it provides full hip extension and, therefore, a great hamstring work out (the stiff legged variation even more directly targets this muscle group).

Glutes: The gluteus maximus is the biggest, strongest muscle in your body and it gets direct stimulation from the hip extension involved in the deadlift. As well as giving you a kick-ass butt, it’s development will give you tremendous thrusting power when you jump or sprint (or whatever else you choose to do).

Spinal Erectors: These are two thick columns of muscle that run alongside the spine from just above the hips to the mid back. Their prime functions are to straighten the back from a bent position and arch the spine. They are also largely responsible for maintaining a fit and problem free lower back. Deadlifts will hammer them mercilessly.

STANDARD TECHNIQUE

Place a loaded barbell on the floor in front of you. Squat down, with feet shoulder width apart, grab it with an overhand grip, arms slightly wider than shoulder width. With arms straight and back arched, lift to an upright position. Pause at the top before lowering back to the floor.

OPTIMIZED TECHNIQUE

Stand in front of the bar with feet shoulder width apart and toes pointing out slightly. With back arched, squat down to grab the bar with a reverse, shoulder width grip (one hand should be supinated (palms facing you) and the other pronated (palms facing away)). Hold the bar as high on the palm as you can to allow for any bar roll as you lift. Begin the upward pull by driving your heels into the ground as you pull the bar towards you and up. As your knees straighten, the bar should be right up against your legs. As you near the top of the movement push your hips forward and your shoulders back. Lift to an upright position with legs straight. Your shoulders should be pulled back and your lower back arched. Pause for a two count and then slowly lower to the floor. Pause and move into your next rep. Don’t let the momentum of a fast rep rate do the work for you.

5 THINGS YOU SHOULD NEVER DO WHILE DEADLIFTING

(1) Round your Back: Rounding your back is the natural reaction to going heavy on the deadlift. But, unless you want to take 20 excruciating minutes to get your pants on in the morning, you must avoid this tendency at all costs. Keep your chest high, chin up and eyes focused on a spot above you and you’re back will naturally remain arched.

(2) Jerk the bar up or move so quickly between reps that momentum is doing most, or any, of the work. You want to have a smooth cadence and a slight pause at both the top and bottom of each rep.

(3) Lean back at the top position. While this was recognized as good form in decades past, we now know that it puts too much stress on your lower back. If you want to hyperextend, do hyperextensions.

(4) Move your foot position during the movement. Keep your feet planted in one spot and push through your heels as you lift. Juggling your feet with a handful of heavy iron could give a whole new meaning to the DEADlift.

(5) Lift your hips faster than your shoulders. Correct technique has the hips and shoulders moving together. If you have already straightened your legs before the bar has hardly left the floor, you need to drop the weight back and get your form on song. Failure to get this right could lead to serious back rounding with its associated problems. It would pay to have a spotter check out this aspect of your technique.

What makes a good film noir romance? And how is it different from, say, a romantic comedy or romantic drama?

A romance in any genre surely must have plenty of trouble and complications to create enough tension to captivate audiences.

The difference in classic film noir lies partially in the universe which the characters inhabit. Whether it’s a seedy dive bar, a stuffy New York apartment, or a fancy house on Russian Hill, the noir ambiance pervades.

But film noir lovers are different too. They’re not just two schmucks in love trying to make it work.

Instead, our protagonist is usually overcome with an obsessive and/or fatalistic desire. And, it’s usually the male (except in Joan Crawford movies), who is the one haunted and driven.

And that’s why the femme fatale is so prevalent in noir. She may be consciously or unconsciously seducing him into her web for her own desperate needs or she may be merely using him to further her own position in an underground world of crime. She often “belongs” to some more powerful, even evil kingpin.

Problem is, she usually falls for the very guy she set out to use and then the two of them are really in trouble. So, either she follows her heart and goes with the ever-suffering protagonist, thus incurring some form of mortal or legal danger for both of them, or she nobly sacrifices her own happiness to save her beloved.

Either way, it generally doesn’t end well. But oh, how we love identifying with those fierce passions run amuck.

Other variations of the classic film noir love triangle involve a real sweet girl or wife, our male protagonist and the femme fatale.

Another common characteristic of film noir lovers is that our main guy knows he’s going down, but just can’t help himself. One or both of the lovers may be headed towards self-destruction, yet feels powerless or lacks the will to stop it.

Why are we so fascinated with film noir romances? Perhaps it’s the irresistible fatalism these characters are caught up in, where the fragile promise of desire consummated is supplanted by an inner torment taken to the nth degree.

And for our voyeuristic pleasure, here are five examples of some favorite doomed-from-the-start film noir love affairs:

1. Johnny (Glenn Ford) and Gilda (Rita Hayworth) in “Gilda” (1946). The pain is palpable in this complex love triangle. Johnny’s best friend and boss is Ballin (George MacCready), a man whose new bride happens to be Johnny’s ex flame. He can’t bear the way she treats his friend, but is also tormented by his own rekindled attraction to her and vice versa.

2. Mae Doyle (Barbara Stanwyk) and Earl (Robert Ryan) in “Clash By Night” (1952). Mae Doyle tires of her new nice- guy husband and goes after his dark and moody friend Earl. They embark on a torrid, unhappy affair.

3. Mark (Dana Andrews) and Laura (Gene Tierney) in “Laura” (1944). Quietly intense detective Mark McPherson falls hard for the beautiful woman in a portrait who is supposedly dead. His obsession grows as he investigates her things and the men in her life.

4. Helen (Claire Trevor) and Sam (Lawrence Tierney) in “Born to Kill” (1947). He’s a killer and she knows it, but Helen and Sam are fiercely attracted. She tries to avoid him since she’s already engaged, so he goes after her rich sister instead. This only incites their passion and things get lethal.

5. Jeff (Glenn Ford again) and Vicki (Gloria Graham) in “Human Desire” (1954). Jeff’s the nice-guy train engineer who gets sucked into murder and mayhem by the irrepressible Vicki, whose husband Carl (Broderick Crawford) is obsessed with jealousy and suspicion.

As these films illustrate, a film noir “romance” is rarely a just a sweet love affair which happens to be set in a dark alley. Rather, it’s usually a desperate attraction between two otherwise alienated souls who find a rare kinship in one another. But due to circumstances of their noir universe (whether external or internal), it seems their union can only lead to destruction, whether to themselves or to others.

The Dukes Of Hazzard (Season 1) DVD Review

Saturday, March 22nd, 2008

In mp3 downloads late 70’s and early 80’s, television viewers fell in love with The Dukes of Hazzard, a weekly foray into the fictional setting of Hazzard County, Georgia. Cousins Bo and Luke Duke (John Schneider and Tom Wopat) spent each episode trying to do good, while the loveable “Boss” Hogg (Sorrell Booke) concocted various schemes for making money and having the Duke boys, who always foiled his plans, thrown in jail for violating their probation (the result of a deal with the federal government to end the centuries-old Duke family tradition of bootlegging).

Joining Bo and Luke are their Uncle Jesse (Denver Pyle), a grandfatherly figure who owns the family farm, and Cousin Daisy (Catherine Bach), whose skimpy shorts coined the cultural term “daisy dukes”. Along with “Crazy” Cooter (Ben Jones), the local mechanic, they create a formidable threat to the money-making shenanigans of Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane (James Best) and the owner of seemingly every business entity in Hazzard County, J.D. “Boss” Hogg. But critics will argue that the true star of the show was the General Lee, Bo and Luke’s bright orange Dodge race car with the Confederate flag pasted on its roof…

The Dukes of Hazzard DVD offers a number of famous episodes, including the series premiere “One-Armed Bandits,” source of the video clips that would appear in the opening sequence of the show for much of its duration. Other notable episodes include “High Octane” in which Jesse Duke outsmarts Boss and Roscoe in his quest to win the government’s alternative fuel contest, and “Route 7-11″ in which Bo and Luke unwittingly become part of an illegal gambling ring until Jesse comes to save the day. Also included on the first season Dukes of Hazzard DVD are The 20th Anniversary Hazzard County Barbecue documentary including John Schneider and Catherine Bach, Dukes Driving 101: A High-Octane Salute including interviews with professional racecar drivers, and The Dukes of Hazzard: Return of the General Lee video game preview…

Guitar Lessons Online - 3 Things You’ll Need To Get Started

Friday, March 21st, 2008

I’ve been playing the free mp3 downloads since I was in my teens and sad to say, that with life’s commitments, I haven’t improved much over the years. I can get by strumming some chords, but always wished I could play by ear or to solo!

Recently, I’ve been exploring some options to improve my guitar playing skills online. In this article I’ll talk about 3 things you’ll need if you want to learn guitar online. I hope my experience and tips will help you in your musical journey.

Before I start, you should know that there are some excellent tutorials online. Some of the better ones are a structured course with step-by-step videos and play along music. If you’re contemplating to learn guitar online, then here’s what you’ll need to get started.

1. A Guitar

I know this sounds obvious, but this an important fact you’ll need to know. You don’t need an expensive guitar or amp to get started. Remember that its about the skill and not the instrument. I’ve read countless bios of famous guitarists and many of them (like Brian May who hand-built his first guitar) started with old, beaten up, hand-me-down guitars.

My point is this: Don’t get hung up on your guitar. All you need is a basic guitar. I prefer an acoustic if you’re a beginner as you won’t get caught up with the technical aspects of it not sounding right. I can tell you from experience that I’ve wasted a lot of money because I thought another pedal/gear/pick will make me play better.

Just make sure it stays in tune and has fresh strings. An acoustic guitar will also free you to practice more often as you can just pick it up an play anytime without worrying about plugging in your gear.

2. A Decent PC

A good online guitar course will have a series of videos that will guide you step by step, much like a personal guitar tutor, but at your own pace and with much less stress!

To learn guitar from an online course, you’ll need a pair of PC speakers. Nothing fancy, but a good pair that is clear and audible is essential. The videos themselves will be played using your browser usually with a Flash or Quicktime plugin, both of which are available free online.

3. Determination and Persistence!

I mentioned earlier that with an online guitar course, you can learn at your own pace. However, that can also be to your disadvantage as you will not be accountable to anyone except yourself!

That’s why its important that you set goals for yourself. For example, to learn a certain lick or song by the middle of next month, etc.

Your guitar playing can also reach a “plateau” and you feel like you’re playing the same thing over and over and not improving. That’s where you’ll need to persevere and not give up. Even if its a few minutes daily, continue to practice and one day, you’ll have a breakthrough. How fast that comes depends totally on you!

That’s it for now. Remember that all the best guitarists have one thing in common - practice. Yes, that’s the secret to mastering your instrument and there’s no shortcut around it. Vary your practice routine with breaks in between and treat yourself once you’ve nailed something down.

Remember, you’re on your own when you take guitar lessons online, but its an excellent way to improve your guitar playing from the comfort of you own home at your own schedule.

Al Tan tries to be a guitarist when he’s not building websites. One of the best resource to learn guitar online that he’s come across which has step-by-step guitar lessons on video is http://www.LearnMusicFrom.Us/Guitar. For acoustic guitar, try http://www.LearnMusicFrom.Us/AcousticGuitar
